Meet the Rebels

Stephanie is an urchin that grew up on the streets and back alleys of "Riverport" (the colloquial name of Daggerford). She is a half elf who is gifted with Wild Magic, and has used that gift to become a sorcerer with a particular fondness for fire spells. Her street smarts, mesmerizing charisma, and quick thinking make her a powerful ally.

She has a pet mouse named Hannah.

Taijitsu is a blue dragonborn ex-soldier and now spends his time as an adventurer. He and Stephanie were close friends since childhood and are very loyal to each other. He likes action, and is particularly fond of breaking down doors (locked or unlocked) and barroom brawls.

Sir Peter is a human paladin who has become friends with Stephanie and Taijitsu, realizing that between Stephanie's knowledge of the city and Taijitsu's fighting ability and military connections, the pair would make excellent allies in his goal of keeping the city free of attack, both physical and political.

Darren Dashforward is a human ranger who has hitched his horse to the Rebels because he recognizes a well-paying gig when he sees one.  Despite his oversize ego, he's actually a pretty skilled ranger, so the Rebels are okay with his coming along. Mostly.

Regina, the Dungeon Master, learned to play Advanced Dungeons and Dragons back in High School. She learned a little over 40 years ago, from an amazingly cool math teacher named Paula Hough. She's since learned 5e through playing for years in  Trey Causey's (From the Sorcerer's Skull) Azurth campaign.

As a kid, she read in the paper that business about the kid "playing games in the sewer and then going nuts and killing himself."

Even as a kid, she knew something about that story was horseshit.

She also knew she needed to find someone to teach her that game.
